Chelation

Chelation Therapy reduces vascular inflammation caused by specific toxic metals and reduces the body burden of those metals in other organ systems. EDTA alone or in combination with DMPS Chelation Therapy is used to clear heavy metals from tissue and arteries and therefore increases blood flow to the heart, brain, legs and throughout the body.

Recent studies have validated its benefit in improving arteriosclerosis, and it may be useful if you have Coronary Artery Disease, circulatory problems, memory decline (from decreased blood flow) or diabetic ulcers. Treatment generally takes about one hour.

Heavy metal toxicity has been associated with chronic conditions such as:

  • Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease
  • Alzheimer’s Disease
  • Diabetic Neuropathy and Renal Disease
  • Autoimmune Diseases
  • Fibromyalgia and Myofascial Pain
  • Cancer

IV Chelation therapy is different from other nutrient IVs because it involves the administration of a powerful antioxidant called EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid) that actually cleans the body of heavy metals. It enters the bloodstream through the IV and catches lead, iron and cadmium that can cause free radical damage to the arteries. These heavy metals are bound to the EDTA and cleared from the body through the process of urination.
